Lesson 24.3 Statistics: Measures of Center

This lesson reviews and extends the topic of measures of center (mean, median, and mode) from previous lessons. It is the last lesson in a cluster that focuses on probability and statistics.

Each week in the Program contains three lessons (1-2 days each). Lessons XX.1 and XX.2 are concept lessons, and lessons such as this one (XX.3) are skills lessons. The structure of a skills lesson differs from the structure of a concept lesson. Some of the differences are: The Student Pages are titled Skill Builder 1, 2, and 3 (this one has six pages, numbered 1, 2A, 2B, 2C, 3A, 3B). These pages give students practice on past and current work.
